Welcome
to the Chicago RC
Model Yacht Club. The club promotes radio
controlled
sailboat racing and encourages new membership. If you've been thinking
about learning to sail, radio controlled sailboats will allow you to
learn
the rules of sailboat racing, as well as the ability to control a model
sailboat. Many "big boat" sailors enjoy radio control racing
as a way to practice tactics in the off season. We sail 2 classes of
boats, the Santa Barbara class (70") and the Soling 1M class (39"), all
classes are welcome at lake. We sail at Axehead Lake (I-294 and
Touhy Avenue). We
